Reaffirming its commitment to enabling AV dealers and integrators to provide their customers with the most advanced interactive presentation technologies at industry-leading price points, Hitachi Software Engineering America, Ltd. (Booth 4046) is showcasing the Starboard FX-63 and FX-77 interactive whiteboards. Built upon the superior performance of Hitachi Software's existing product line, the FX Series offers larger image areas, faster tracking speed and a powerful feature set, providing an ideal solution for schools and businesses seeking a durable, versatile interactive presentation and collaboration system that fits within their budget.
"The FX Series offers the advanced features, flexibility and performance value that only Hitachi Software can deliver," says Ted Wakabayashi, president, Hitachi Software Engineering America. "Developed with input from our contractors and their customers, the FX Series is designed to provide teachers, trainers and presenters with a powerful interactive presentation solution that is feature-rich yet easy to use. Hitachi Starboard Software is highly intuitive to anyone familiar with the basics of computer operation. In addition, our new interactive whiteboards are fully customizable, saving time by enabling users to tailor the system to meet their individual needs."
Featuring screen sizes of 63 inches and 77 inches respectively, the FX-63 and FX-77 are suitable for installation in classrooms, meeting rooms and training facilities. Customizable function buttons enable the use of StarBoard software without the constant use of on-screen menus, and a customizable toolbar further enhances speed, flexibility and user-friendliness. Available in a choice of USB wired or Bluetooth wireless configurations, the FX Series offers seamless integration with new or existing equipment, including computers, LCD projectors and data scanners.
Hitachi Software's easy-to-master Starboard Software enables users to run and annotate computer applications directly on the whiteboard using the supplied pen device. The wireless two-button pen device functions as a mouse to operate the PC or as a pen to annotate and edit documents, which can be saved as editable screen shots in Starboard Software or as Windows software applications.
