Networking/Signal Distribution
Conference Systems, Inc. (CSI, Booth 2465) is introducing the DIS DCS 6000 digital infrared audio distribution system. With up to 32 channels of digital quality audio distribution via infrared transmission, this system is ideal for any application requiring multiple channels of audio. Preferred applications include, but are not limited to, multi-channel audio in health clubs, sports themed restaurants, museums, university classrooms and language distribution in multi-language meetings.
The system is available with eight- or 32-channel digital transmitters. These transmitters take mono or stereo signals from virtually any audio source ranging from subscription music systems, broadcast tuners, CDs, public address or conferencing systems. The transmitter modulates those signals onto carrier waves which are transmitted to highly efficient digital infrared radiators for wireless distribution to the four-, eight- or 32-channel digital infrared receivers.
Highlights of DCS infrared system: *impervious to interference from lighting, monitors or analog infrared sources; *outstanding stereo audio quality via digital transmission; *receivers are designed for ease-of-use in four-, eight- or 32-digital channels; *interfaces easily with virtually any line level audio source; *can even be used in bright sunlight.
