Networking/Signal Distribution
The 1:8 Component CAT5 DA and the 1:3 Component Audio DA from Gefen (Booth 3607) both provide a convenient way to split and distribute video in HD resolutions up to 1080p using a sender and multiple receiver system connected by CAT-5e cables.
The 1:8 Component CAT5 DA's sender unit comes equipped to distribute eight component outputs, which can be used in part or in full to drive up to eight video displays at the same time using the same video source or computer. A cable with a component input/HD-15 output is also included.
A unique option for extending those displays up to 330-feet is included through the use of individual receiver units, measuring just one- by four-inches and capable of receiving HD resolutions over one CAT-5e cable for each extended display.
With or without extension, the Gefen 1:8 Component CAT5 Distribution solution supplies HD-quality video resolution using component video connectors, making this a valuable tool for today's digital signage, presentation and pro/av installations.
The 1:3 Component Audio DA supplies one RGB component, one S/PDIF input and three RGB component and S/PDIF outputs that feed HD sound and visuals directly to three displays at the same time. HDTV-quality video is supported as each output is capable of achieving resolutions up to 1080p component.
