Sound Advance Introduces FastMount Speaker Line
Sound Advance (Booth 1689) is introducing new indoor/outdoor loudspeakers with an innovative hardware system, called FastMount, that provides a secure “no tools” solution for an efficient installation. The three new Sound Advance models are available in paintable white or black cabinets. The FM530, FMS660, and FMS860 feature 5.25-inch, 6.5-inch, and 8-inch polypropylene woofers, respectively, combined with a 1-inch polyurethane dome tweeter and sophisticated crossover circuitry. Each model incorporates a built-in 60-watt, multitap, 70-volt transformer with power taps at 3dB intervals and an 8-ohm bypass.

The new CD-RW901 professional CD recorder from TASCAM (Booth 1982) gives studios the professional connections and features they need, like AES-EBU digital I/O, RS-232 serial control and a timed track increment for adding track markers during recording. Retaining the features of the CD-RW900, the CD-RW901 adds XLR balanced analog I/O, a wired remote control, and other features professionals demand.

JK Audio Shows Four IFB Unit
At Booth 2386 JK Audio is introducing Four IFB, a four position analog telephone line interface. Four IFB provides flexible listen-only IFB for television field production use. Each IFB output, and the monitor input/output jacks, may be separately connected to one of the four analog phone lines. A telephone handset may also be connected for communication with the Monitor phone line.

A&H Showcases GL2800 Live Sound Board
Allen & Heath’s 56-input GL2800 gets the spotlight at Booth 1240. Part of a new generation of the industry standard GL range of live sound mixers, the GL2800 is equipped with L, R, and M main mixes, 8 groups, 10 auxes including a dedicated stereo aux, 12 x 4 matrix including external inputs and four mute groups.
