Pioneer’s DVD-V8000 Takes A Bow
Pioneer Electronics is introducing its next-generation industrial DVD-video player designed for professional applications at Booth 1301. The DVD-V8000 allows for easier rack mounting; a new front-panel LCD display and navigation keys on the front panel allow for enhanced ease of use; and USB interfaces allow connectivity for a computer mouse, USB Flash Memory or handwriting device. For advanced control, the DVD-V8000 offers 9-pin and 15-pin serial interfaces that employ the full range of RS-232C commands.

StarTech.com (Booth 665) is introducing a unique new converter (VGAHD2HDMI) that allows users to connect analog equipment with VGA outputs to HDMI displays. This product is part of StarTech.com's new product line, called "Converge AV," which includes a number of specialized converters/scalers, extenders, splitters and switches needed by installers to complete both commercial and home A/V projects. The broad product selection offered by StarTech.com will allow installers to offer end-to-end solutions to their customers while minimizing the amount of time and effort required to source specialized products.

Screen Works Works On New Screens
The Screen Works (Booth 2132) is now offering now four new HDTV (16:9) E-Z Fold screen sizes. The new single-tube frame sizes include 4-foot x 7-foot-one-inch (122cm x 216cm); 4.5-foot x 8-foot (137cm x 244cm); 5-foot x 8-foot-10-inches (152cm x 269cm) and 6-foot x 10.75-foot (203cm x 343cm). With the addition of these four new sizes to The Screen Works' existing 7.5-foot x 13-foot single-tube screen size, the company now offers a total of five single-tube HDTV screen sizes. Available in several front projection surfaces, rear projection and new 2-VU front/rear material, E-Z Fold screens feature square corner display for data-critical presentations.
